HELLO!
For the past two decades I have been designing all types of things, from fashion accessories to graphic design. I spent much of my career as an accessories designer in New York. I worked for large apparel companies American Eagle, Kate Spade and Liz Claiborne, as well as small boutique start-ups.
Before becoming a designer, I studied art history at Barnard College, Columbia University and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, both in New York.
After making aliyah to Israel, I co-founded a design studio for fashion accessories and textiles under the name Leah Lerner Design Studio. Here I designed and produced women’s accessories and home products that were sold worldwide. One of the aspects of having my own business that I loved most was creating the visual story and digital marketing behind each collection. Not only did I design the product but also oversaw all of the graphics, copy & marketing.
I continued to learn more about digital design at the online immersion school General Assembly.
My range of experience in art, fashion and graphic design has given me a broad set of skills: an artistic aesthetic, clean visual sensibility, smart functionality and ability to work as a team player. My goal is to continue to grow and collaborate with like minded people in a professional and creative environment.
